    EU moves toward Marrakesh Treaty Ratification this autumn

    Under the Estonian Presidency an agreement on the legal framework for EU ratification was reached last Friday, September 22nd by the Council Working Group on Copyright closely following the terms of the European Court opinion that established exclusive EU  to ratify the Marrakesh Treaty.  There is no text available yet but we have been told there are no controversial issues involved nor any reference to the WIPO Marrakesh Assembly.  This agreement has now been sent to be translated which...

Newsletter

EBU previously produced a bi-monthly newsletter in 4 languages, English, French, German and Spanish.

As from January 2018, and with the launch of our new website, will now produce a monthly 'members' newsletter in English, and a three-monthly EBU-Focus newsletter in English, French, German and Spanish, which will deal with one topic in-depth in each issue.

Making information Accessible for all

The European Blind Union asks that information is accessible to anyone, including blind and partially sighted people, and at the same time and at no additional cost.

In this publication we focus on the accessibility of printed and electronic documents intended for a broad audience including websites, books, invoices, letters, leaflets etc.

The information is available in English, Dutch, French, German and Spanish.
