British charity RNIB Scotland's Inclusive Design for Sustainability (IDS) Conference is set to return to the Glasgow Science Centre on March 17-18, 2025. Sponsored by Google, the event will bring together global technology leaders such as Microsoft and Starship, accessibility advocates, and renowned speakers to explore the transformative potential of inclusive design. The conference will focus on how advanced technologies can enhance accessibility for blind and partially sighted individuals, with discussions on inclusive public spaces, travel innovation, and the role of AI and robotics. UN Ambassador Dr. Aubrey Webson will headline the event, emphasising accessible technology’s role in reducing inequalities and driving global change.
