In order to promote the socio-professional integration of visually impaired young people, several European associations have come together and launched the "Vip-Tech-Job" project. This project enabled the creation of an online training platform and a webapp allowing the consultation of job vacancies.
The project was launched in Belgium by Views International ENGO in collaboration with Aforisma (Italy), Fundación Docete Omnes (Spain) and Istituto Rittmeyer (Italy) and funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union. This made it possible to develop all of the products in English, French, Spanish and Italian.
The training platform has free access and it is designed to promote independent training. It will support you to prepare a CV, to get useful interview skills and to tackles questions of national work legislation.
The job search application allows the visually impaired persons to navigate through the offers in an appropriate manner. It is also possible for any employer who wishes to create an account to add job offers. For the moment, offers coming from: reference.be (private job provider) and Forem (Regional employment office) have been added for Belgium.
