Following the recent meeting in Paris, the EBU Board is working on establishing a set of rules and guidelines to provide a framework for staff, volunteers, management and other collaborators to ensure that all communication and interaction respects the individuals involved.
The aim is that no one should feel insulted, bullied, threatened of ill-at-ease in their work with EBU, and should the guidelines not be respected, that a procedure is in place to ensure that complaints are examined, taken seriously and dealt with.
We would like to ask all members if such structures exist in your organisations, whether it be in terms of guidelines or complaints procedures, so that the Board can take into account existing good practices.
We would appreciate any feedback on this topic which could facilitate the task or raise points which may otherwise be missed.
Please send your input to Gary May, EBU Information Officer and the information will be compiled and sent to the Board.
We thank you in advance for your contributions to this issue.
